Tim, the author and owner of this website, is a seasoned automotive enthusiast with a lifelong passion for cars that was passed to him from his father, Anthony (“Tony” to his friends and family).
Hailing from the picturesque state of Maine, he has spent a significant part of his life working on his own vehicles, and on the vehicles of others as an independent mechanic.
Tim’s hands-on experience, coupled with his deep knowledge of automotive engineering, makes him a trusted source of information about tire performance, tire brands, and the tire industry in general.
On weekends you can usually find him in the garage, or in his truck, cruising some of the lesser-traveled parts of his state where he gets a fair amount of mud and dirt on his tires.
